Self Service+ is a new app for Macbooks that will be replacing Self Service on February 20th, 2026.

It has a new icon:

The app itself has been redesigned:

There is a new menu bar icon at the top of your screen:

Everything will function the same when it comes to installing and updating apps.

On February 4th, Self Service+ will be installed alongside Self Service. Either app is fine to use.

On February 20th, Self Service+ will be set as the default app and Self Service will be uninstalled.

Once that is set, the dock icon for Self Service will be removed and Self Service+ will be added to the beginning of the dock. This will cause your screen to flash briefly.
